INSTRUCTION <br />EDUCATIONAL GOALS <br />2000 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />In keeping with the educational philosophy as specified in Policy Number 100, the <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 Board of Trustees hereby sets the following <br />general objectives: <br />1. District Objectives <br />a. To provide a District organization which will best serve the patrons and students: <br />b. To provide safe, healthful attractive classrooms and work stations; <br />c. To provide adequate equipment and material available for students and <br />teachers; <br />d. To achieve the above using good business management practice in a financially <br />prudent manner; <br />2. Administrative Objectives <br />a. To provide competent personnel in administrative positions who will constantly <br />evaluate programs and activities in terms of the needs of the individual; <br />b. To provide a practical program projected toward meeting future building facility <br />needs, and properly maintaining existing facilities; <br />c. To provide safety programs; <br />d. To provide safe transportation of students; <br />e. To provide effective accounting of school receipts and expenditures; <br />To provide policies that will recognize and encourage personal responsibilities <br />and rights; <br />3. Instruction Objectives <br />a. To provide competent, qualified teachers in every teaching position; <br />b. To provide textbooks with contents which will support democracy, freedom and <br />National and individual rights and responsibilities, and which will provide for the <br />development of: <br />(1) Fluency in reading, with special emphasis in the first four grades; <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br />
