SCHOOL FACILITIES <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br />9340 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />The Superintendent/designee shall establish procedures that address the purchase, <br />storage, handling, transportation, removal and disposal of hazardous materials for <br />school facilities, operations, and instructional programs. The procedures shall also <br />include emergency response actions and evacuation plans. <br />District employees who are involved with hazardous materials shall be trained regarding <br />the procedures in order to prevent accidents and to take appropriate action in the event <br />of an accident. <br />DEFINITION <br />Hazardous Material: includes any substance or mixture of substances that poses a <br />fire, explosive, reactive, or health hazard. <br />Adopted 06/14/2006 Reviewed Revised <br />Legal Reference: I.C. § 33 -512 Governance of schools <br />Bonneville Joint School District No. 93 <br />
